Referral following using Perl-LDAP??

Hi,
I'm new to Perl-LDAP and I'm trying a perl script that does the referral =
following.
I've the following questions.
1. Can perl-LDAP support auto referral following ( the document says it =
doesn't but is there any latest version that does this)
2. If I have to do it manually, should I write a seperate code using =
Net::Extra to do this?? If anyone tried a sample code that does this let =
me know.
3. Can I call the C-APIs in Perl-LDAP?? how can I set the LDAP options??
