Perldap example - command line syntax

Hello all,

 have just installed perldap1.4 on my machine. It seems to me that it has
installed perfectly  as you can see from below pasted output.

C:\perldap-1.4>c:\perl\bin\make install

But now when I try to run any damn single example(from examples
directory),perldap crashes with memory violation.Can anyone just suggest me
syntax for a silly,simple example(may be just how to connect) , to any
publically available server?

my server info is   HOST: hetal.whitelight.com  ,PORT: 27033, BASE:
cn=arad,ou=faculty,o=whitelight.com.
