You could also try getting another version of make for Windows (I am
fortunate to not use Windows, so I can't tell you what works best.)

Of course even if make fails that doesn't stop you from installing the
files manually.  The INSTALL file describes how to do this.

(And the latest version of perl-ldap is 0.23, so use that instead of 0.20
:-)
