Net::LDAP::LDIF write

'perldoc Net::LDAP::LDIF' does not provide much detail about
'write(ENTRIES)' and 'write_cmd(ENTRIES)'.  I need to know what data
structure ENTRIES should be?  Where can I find an example of using
'write'?

By the way, how can I check what version of Net::LDAP I have?
