modify problem

Hi,

perl-ldap 0.20

$mesg = $ldap->modify( "cn=".$group.",".$ldapbase,
                       changes => [
                           replace => [ memberuid => "" ],  # change memberuids
                           replace => [ description => $desc ]
                          ]
             );

do not work but :

$mesg = $ldap->modify( "cn=".$group.",".$ldapbase, replace => { memberuid => "" });  # change memberuids
$mesg = $ldap->modify( "cn=".$group.",".$ldapbase, replace => { description => $desc });

works fine. Where is the problem ?
