about multivalued ...

Hello all,
I would like to know if it is posssible (using LDIF for instance) to modify
an attribute "multivalued" value.
Example:

the attribute X is multivalued
 X = A 
    = B
    = C
and i would like to modify that to 
  X = A
     = B
     = D
