Communication of what kind? There are many tools for this type of
thing. You might look at TAU since it supports MPI, Pthreads, OpenMP,
Fortran, C, C++, etc. as well as low-level instrumentation with PAPI.
There is also Scalasca, but I haven't tried it yet.
If you mean communication below MPI, such as IB verbs, I don't know
any tool for that.
