Thanks again for the followup information.  I'm glad to hear that things 
are improved for you as far as the unknown functions (question marks) go 
with psprocess.  I thought I would add that the latest release of 
PerfSuite (0.6.2a5) has changed its use of the BFD library in a way that 
should more closely approximate the results one gets with PSPROCESS_MAPPER 
set to addr2line (however, if one prefers the latter, that's OK too!).
