Hello all, I'm writing to let you know that I am leaving NCSA/University of Illinois and will be handing off the leadership of PerfSuite from myself to my colleague Rui Liu, who has been working with me for the past three years on PerfSuite development, maintainance, and support. The project is very much alive and will be in excellent hands: I have been remiss in introducing Rui to you all previously so I will correct that. Rui joined NCSA and PerfSuite in 2008 and has been very involved in development of existing software and is the sole developer of all recent Java-based software in PerfSuite. He wasn't a rookie when he came to NCSA: after graduating from the Computer Science graduate program at the University of Illinois, he was a key member of the development team at a startup that was subsequently acquired by Cisco Systems. He continued to work at Cisco for some time, and decided he wanted to return to the more laid-back lifestyle here in the midwest. He's now settled in and has made significant contributions not only to PerfSuite, but to the broader mission of HPC at NCSA. A better debugger may not exist :) And as for me - I would like to thank you all for your interest in PerfSuite and for participating in this list and using the software; I hope it has been some help to you in your work! Best wishes, Rick |
