[PerfSuite-users] POINT/VI-HPS LiveDVD available

Members of this list may be interested in the availability of a bootable LiveDVD that contains pre-installed copies of performance software and tools that have been developed by the POINT and VI-HPS projects (PerfSuite is participating in POINT).

The LiveDVD is available as an ISO image that can be written to DVD or USB, which provides a handy way to try out software without having to go through full installations.

The LiveDVD will be used as a hands-on training tool at an upcoming full-day tutorial to be held at Supercomputing 2009 in Portland, OR.
