I thought it could be interesting to you guys to know that my solution
for nagios in high availability environments was accepted as a paper
(strangeley :) ) at IADIS international virtual conference about
Informatics (http://www.iadis.org/multi2005/Program_MULTI2005.htm -
check the 14th of April). The work is also available in
www.nagios.org/docs/
I am telling you this because Perfparse is part of the solution.
