I have wondered why it became so quiet on the devel list. I already 
considered
about asking where the project is actually going. Is there some active 
development
at the moment? I've heard about the new php frontend. In which state is 
it?

Do you have an idea how many people are actually using perfparse? There 
wasn't that much
traffic on the lists. I haven't visited the perfparse page for a while, 
but imho the wiki is a bit to complex
and the install guide should be reviewed. Perhaps these factors make the 
project look unmaintained and reject new users.
However I know, that modifying the installguide was discussed about half a 
year ago, but I haven't had the time
to install pp and then contribute some docs, since then.

Hope you find worthy successor.
