I did unassign some. If you are not logged in, you can see it. I could 
also break the 3 column design and only use a left "utility" column and a 
"data area". But i think it is not useful with the shoutbox. But do we 
need the shoutbox?

In fact tikiwiki started as a wiki - with the unique feature of a 
permission system. That's why i started to develop for tikiwiki. Now i 
would say it's more a portal based on a wiki (the wiki syntax can be used 
in many parts of tikiwiki).
