Alex, This looks like an interesting piece of work. I think now we need to discuss with the other members where we take this. We can continue with this method but break the current translation. Or do something else. For this there are lots of other people who need to comment :) I very much want to use your system. Possibly you can let us know a little more about it? We have to work out the best way of making PerfParse generic to any data gathering system. If breaking the translation is the best way for the greater good, then so be it. Otherwise, we must be open to other non-destructive methods. It occurs to me that this may work well: #ifdef USE_NAGIOS _("Host"); #elsif USE_DARREN_KEMP_SYSTEM _("Plugin"); #endif Although some user may want to use both systems :) I am sorry I have only just thought if this way.
