[Perfparse-users] 2.3. Periodic User Log Parse

Sorry but I'm confused?

 

In the docs at 5.4 when it states

 

Edit a script like this : 

#!/bin/sh
$USER2=/perfparse/installation/directory
 
mv ${USER2}/var/perfdata-service.log ${USER2}/var/perfdata-service.log1
cat ${USER2}
 
What script do I edit??
 
Is there a dummy's guide to using Periodic User Log Parse??
