Hey, you have libgd2. Why don't you have gdlib-config ?

Try to install libgd2-dev ?
With this package, restart the compilation from scratch (remove everythin=
g and
uncompress perfparse.tar.gz again) and it should work.

I thought you had only gd1 :)
