The perfdata-service.log file is created even though I did start =
perfparsed first.
Can I start perfparsed with any debugging switches? To try locate what =
is going wrong?

I used the following command, it seems like perfparsed started ok. At =
least, it didn't complain.

/usr/local/nagios/bin/perfparsed --storage_modules_dir =
--storage_modules_load
