I'm using Method 3.. I'm not actually seeing anything in the logs 
perfparse related.  Perfparse will
work fine for Xdays, but then if I don't look at it for 2 or 3 days, it 
will just stop graphing.. There will
be a 2-3 day gap in the graphs, and then once I start looking at it 
again, it 's as if it's gotten the attention
it wants and goes back to graphing.  All the while the logs are being 
written to and my every 5 minute
cronjob to generate the graphs are running..
