Hi Christopher
Check_icmp has to run with root privilledges so you need to chmod the file
to inherit the privilledges of the root user while running then release
them again after execution.
It's very simple to do. If you need more info give me a shout

Subject: [Perfparse-users] Problems to use check_icmp and nagios 1.2
Hello,
I have problems to use the check_icmp with the nagios version 1.2, if I
change the host check_command from check_ping to check_icmp, I get the
message on the webinterface "Root access needed (for raw sockets)".
Additional I can't see any graph's in the menu "View and Graph Binary Data". Has anybody a clue what's wrong with my configuration?
Thanks,
Christopher
