Philipp,

Can you check you have installed 'glib2-devel'?  Sorry, I know I have 
already made you upgrade your MySQL :)

This is required for versions 0.10 upwards.  This gives the developers 
significant programming ability to continue developing PerfParse.

It is unusual that this is not installed on your system.  Can you please 
let me know the operating system and it's version, which you are using 
so that we can help other users?
