Hi folks,

I'd appreciate any help with installing PerfInsp for Windows XP, build 2600, SP2.
The kernel signature isn't present in the kerneldb-xp.bin file.
I've got the latest windows debugging tool kit.
Running spupdate says "symchk is version v6.10 but needs version >= v6.4" and then bails out.

Any pointers would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.
Arun

    This is the bug:
    This line of code in ksyms.c is obviously wrong.

    xpu_get_file_version(symchk_fqn, &major, &minor, NULL, NULL);
    if (major > 6 || (major == 6 && minor >= 4)) {
    wrong_file_version_msg(symchk_fqn, major, minor);
    goto TheEnd;
    }
    rc = 1; // they're both good
