Srs, I have one question. My monitored Machine, IBM Netvista , Linux Red Hat 9.0 with Net-SNMP. +-300Mb RAM The output of top command: 47 processes: 45 sleeping, 2 running, 0 zombie, 0 stopped CPU states: 0.2% user 0.0% system 0.0% nice 0.0% iowait 99.8% = idle Mem: 318832k av, 282968k used, 35864k free, 0k shrd, 61956= k buff 193212k actv, 564k in_d, 5080k in_c Swap: 650624k av, 6660k used, 643964k free 162500= k cached My percival show this: Memory [ used ] Status: UP Linux 2.4.20-8 #1 Thu Mar 13 17:54:28 EST 2003 i686 Contact: root@localhost Location: Unknown (326.48 M) TOTAL MEMORY: (last 7 days) Max: 326.48 Mbytes Avg: 326.48 Mbytes Cur= : 326.48 Mbytes USED MEMORY: (last 7 days) Max: 94.01 Mbytes Avg: 69.62 Mbytes Cur: 5= 5.07 Mbytes SHARED MEMORY: (last 7 days) Max: 0.00 bytes Avg: 0.00 bytes Cur: 0.0= 0 bytes BUFFER MEMORY: (last 7 days) Max: 63.44 Mbytes Avg: 63.35 Mbytes Cur:= 63.44 Mbytes CACHED MEMORY: (last 7 days) Max: 173.45 Mbytes Avg: 163.90 Mbytes Cu= r: 171.22 Mbytes The used memory is not correct. In my /usr/local/percival/lib/Devices/Computers/Linux.pm I see tha OIDs= used for colect this are: OID linuxUsedMemory 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.4.6.0 OID linuxFreeMemory 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.4.5.0 When I try this with snmpwalk the output is: to 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.4.5.0: memTotalReal.0 =3D INTEGER: 318832=19 to 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.4.6.0: memAvailReal.0 =3D INTEGER: 35660 What is wrong?
