#10 Net editors fail to open under Debian

open
Net editor (6)
9
2012-10-21

No

Both net editors fail to open using Debian systems.
Error message is "alloc: invalid block"
The error is raised by Tcl memory subsystem due to a
failed call to Tcl_Free (at least the stack trace lets
assume this). The error might also raise on other
systems, which are as strict as Debian with memory
handling and stack corruption. With SuSE 9.1, the error
does not show up.
This error has already been fixed, this message is just
for information. Please use the latest CVS version or
any release later than 2.0beta4 (the next released is
scheduled for end of 2004).

According to another bug report on this list, also Mandrake
9.1 fails to run the net editors. I will try to release the
    next version very soon...
