2 modules from the 3 necessary to release penub has been written and are under QA now. It's about 1/2 of the work. Architecture diagram and Low-Level Design specifications document are circulating within the developer group to be finilized and published

Regular developer group has been created. Architectural and high-level design decisions were agreed on. Project is moving into development phase.
