Minor update in ScummVM version 2.7.0 - Dragging current equipped items in paperdoll now immediately unequips them until dropped back in position. This still doesn't preview the stats before drop, but improves behavior slightly.
Fixed in the ScummVM version 2.7.0.
I believe this has been fixed in the ScummVM version, but if I'm honest I'm not 100% sure how I fixed it - I was able to reproduce it, then I made a bunch of updates to the usecode engine as part of Crusader support, and now I can no longer reproduce it.

I got this to trigger correctly, took leaving the room and coming back in and then standing in the middle of them. Moving the shield, however, does nothing.
This appears to be okay now, but rather than replacing the shield, you need to stand on the egg between the 3 ancient ones for it to trigger properly.
For those people reading this on Windows, I highly recommend installing OmniMidi and using your prefered soundfont to Timidity. I am running with an SB Awe32 soundfont and the game is as I remember it on actual hardware. This should resolve any issues.
I belive this is the sound of the zombies getting stuck in a loop.

Update - I managed to get it after changing my screen resolution to FULL HD (1920x1080) and then I was able to see the ghost armor way off the edge of the screen. Breaks immersion but it works...
