Disable & Uninstall don't fully work

Hi,
While diagnosing another issue, I tried to first disable then later uninstall PPost. Neither worked fully.
I think the Thunderbird about:config settings are changed by PPost, but not put back to normal when disabled or uninstalled. I'm not sure, I didn't test it much, but it seems the most likely reason that the on-screen headers are still being modified even after complete removal of the extension.

This is a known issue. Because the extension changes mailnews.headers.extraExpandedHeaders. This is the same thing enigmail does. You can delete the extra headers added to this pref manually from about:config.
When uninstall is done thunderbird just blows out the extensions folder on restart. The extension is not notified of this and so cannot take any action to reverse any setting changes.
I'll see if there is a workaround to this, though I doubt it
