pploader & pplogger in Login Items, but haven't installed PeerGuardian?

I know this is a long shot since it's OS X related, but it doesn't hurt to ask, I guess. I'm using OS X 10.6.8, and I noticed "pploader" and "pplogger" in my Login Items list. Until now, I don't think I've ever heard of PeerGuardian, much less installed it.

    These searches return nothing:
    sudo find / -name pplogger
    sudo find / -name pploader
    sudo find / -name *uardian

...so it doesn't seem to actually be installed, but there they are, listed in the startup items. Any clue how that might've happened? It's not really a problem, but I am super-curious about it.

    TIA,
    Ian

Sounds strange, but I have no idea what's up.
Anybody else using your machine? Maybe someone installed and uninstalled, but the uninstall was not complete but left those items.
