Pedestal is intended to work with any compiler of Mac OS programs that supports the features it needs (e.g. exceptions). Currently, it is know to work with Metrowerks' compilers. In theory, you should be able to use the Windows version of CodeWarrior to cross-compile for Mac OS.
I don't know if CodeWarrior for Linux includes the MW compilers.
In the future I'd like to use gcc, but I don't believe it's ready to support the Mac yet.
