I just downloaded the 9.0 version for windows and both the 64- and 32-bit version were flagged by Norton 360 and removed from the computer because they contained viruses
Furthermore, some of the repositories (e.g. OSDN and FossHub) scans the new packages, so you can also check if warnings are issued before proceeding with the download.
