The xvals.t test fails on my machine if output autoflush isn't on.

Your patch is against an old version of xvals.t. Please check that this failure occurs with the newer version. This behavior has not been reported by anyone else, so if it persists please provide additional diagnostic information. Some contact info (a SF user account) would also be helpful.

I don't know about what's under version control, but the last release is definitely broken for me:

Replace your xvals.t with this one. It has changed since the 2.4.3 release:
The last communication requested that Nobody try the new xvals.t code. With no further response to this I'm assuming that the new code fixed his/her issue. If the problem still exists after the PDL-2.4.4 release, they can re-submit the patch. Marked pending and "Out of Date" for the resolution.
