when specifying a symbol as the third argument to
points, it does not plot Y vs X, but some
thing other than (Y) vs. X

For example, this code

use PDL;
use PDL::Graphics::PGPLOT;

$x1 = zeroes(20)->xvals;
$x2 = sqrt($x1);

dev ('/vps', 1, 2 );
points $x1, $x2, -1;
points $x1, $x2, { symbol => -1};

should produce two identical plots. instead the first
is a straight line. I've attached a bzip2'd tar file
containing a couple of PDL scripts, some data, and
PostScript files of the resultant plots.

This is PDL-cvs of Oct 8 or so.
