Quick Question REG: Registry

    RLRPC - 2006-10-30

I apologize for not knowing anything about Java, so this may be a silly question to some, but does the win32 installer make any registry or environmental changes at all?  If so, what?

Thank you for such a great product and keep up the good work!

It does. The installer puts some entry like author o application name... some kind of default data sugegsted by NSIS, the script application i used to make the installer. This entries are not necessasy to pdfsam but perhaps they are for the unistaller... i'm not sure about it, i should check the script and i'm at work now, i'll do it tomorrow. If you want a clean registry just download the zip file, unzip it in a chosen dorectory and create a link to the jar file. Pure Java apps are multiplatform and don't need any registry entry.
