Bug: Under any action ("Merge/Extract" for instance), after pressing the add button, the Open box cannot traverse Junctions on a remote share. My remote share is on a Windows 2003 Enterprise server.
How to recreate: On a windows 2003 server, create 2 partitions. Now create a folder anywhere on partition 1 and set it up as a share. Within this folder, create a junction using Microsoft/Sysinternals' junction program that points to partition 2. Place a single PDF at the root of partition 2. Now on your Vista system using pdfsam 2.2.1, go to merge/extract and click the add button. Click on Network and locate your share. Attempt to navigate to the PDF. You will be stopped at the junction.
This is probably more wide spread than just vista accessing a server 2003 share with junction. It is probably a bug in Java Swing, but I'll let you determine that and if so elevate it up to the appropriate people...
