We are marking certain documents read only because either they contain features that are not supported by PDFedit (e.g. encrypted documents) or the document itself is not good for editing (e.g. linearized document). Hello, I am trying to use PDFedit 0.4.5-20100605 (official package from ubuntu) to edit a PDF file. The pdf file is writable by the my unix user. The document you have provided (and I can reproduce that with others too) has rotated pages - the first page is rotated by 270 degrees - and the added text is added with in the coordinating system without rotation (PDF calls it user space). I have reported that as http://pdfedit.petricek.net/bt/view.php?id=369, but unfortunatelly I have no idea how to fix this.
