PDFCreator easily creates PDFs from any Windows program. Use it like a printer in Word, Excel or any other Windows application. A PDF takes less storage space, and is easier to send with email. Make PDF creator part of your the software suite you have installed on your computer for easy PDF creation.

I am trying to get PDFCreator 1.9.3 to install on my computer but I am not able to find it anywhere on your website or on SourceForge.

    Hi,

we habe abandoned the sf svn in favour of a solution hosted with us for speed reasons. We always provide a zip with the source code along with the releases. You can find that here:
    http://download.pdfforge.org/download/pdfcreator/list

        Hi,

Thanks for the link. Do you provide the installation file (inno .iss file)
of the .NET based version 1.9.3 of PDFCreator along with the source
code? because the computer on which I run your PDFCreator do not have .NET
4.0 and internet connection, so if I can modify the setup.iss file to
include the .NET 4.0 framework inside the setup itself instead of a
internet download, that would be of great help. Let me know if you can
provide the inno .iss of version 1.9.3 setup.

        Thanks again.

The easiest way to circumvent this is to install .Net 4.0 before calling the PDFCreator setup. We are using the official Microsoft redistributable installer and this always requires an internet connection. If you need this for more machines, you could write a small script that first calls the .Net setup and then installs PDFCreator

Very nice application for converting files into PDF,JPG,PNG,TIF.I found very useful for saving space and very friendly too!An ambitious thought though is to handle multiple files and convetring them by a user at once..

Still the same robust pdf writer application! Version 2.0.2 appears clean.

    Great program that works flawlessly.

    Pros
Simple and effective. It creates PDF formatted files from other formats, like MSWord.

    Cons
    Can't think of any.

It's sad to say it, but you guys are intentionally adding this malware to make a few bucks! Please rethink your business model, your software it's REALLY GREAT!

Now not only the horribly unwanted PDFCreator is packed, and only with 'expert settings' ignored, but two more bloatware items are attached. And not open source any more.... so why does SF host this project? Please remove this entry, or post clearly how we can remove all this bloatware.

Why do you say that PDFCreator is unwanted? And what makes you say that the expert settings are ignored? Or why PDFCreator would not be open source anymore? PDFCreator just has moved to GitHub like nearly everyone else... https://github.com/pdfforge/PDFCreator

    Dear Philip,

If you look at the commits on github, you can see that PDFForge is not using github at all, they just show main pushes for updates.
There are no releases, just a note that sometime in the future people might be able to build Creator themselves.

So for now people rely on a privately build release, which still installs automatically all unwanted software (=bloatware).

Open means we can follow progress, not just a show off of what is there. It also means that people can actually add to the code.

We're looking for a solution for PCL to PDF converstion.

Ghostscript's 'gpcl5' seems to do most of the job, but it isn't recognizing 3of9 barcode when we send the pcl command string CHR(27)+"(0Y"+CHR(27)+"(s0p8.11h12v0s0b0T"+CHR(27)+"&a"+STR(X)+"c&a"+STR(Y)+"R"

I can't find a specific answer about pdfcreator - will it convert PCL to PDF?
and, if so, does it recognize the 3of9 barcode font command?
