#12 PDF-Booklet 3.0.3.exe problem

I'm wouw windows 7 64 bits
I just installed PDF-Booklet 3.0.3.exe. When I run it, a windows command prompt window opens, a back window with a blinking cursor, and a PDF-Booklet window (ah, the dash) with the utility GUI.
Note: small error in pdfbooklet.cfg on the path of the file test.pdf which is found in the menu Files ... code not reviewed.

I don't understand exactly what is the problem. The black window is normal, although it is perhaps possible to hide it, it does not harm and error messages are printed here which may be useful. This is due to the way pyinstaller works.
The error in pdfbooklet.cfg has been corrected in the last version. This is a generated file which should be empty when the program is installed.

I also have what seems like the issue above. I installed ver 3.0.3 under Windows 10 64bit and all I get when I run it is the black command window!

If I understand well, you may be encountring a strange behaviour of Windows 8 and 10. The first time a new version of pdfBooklet is started, there is a long moment (less than 1 minute in Windows 8, up to 2 minutes in Windows 10) during which nothing happens. Windows is probably doing some analysis but does not inform the user. After a quite long time, the gui will appear.
After that initial alalysis, the program will start normally.
Note that in PdfBooklet 3.0.4 there is no longer the black window.
