#45 Missing DLL file in pdesk
I uninstalled pdesk Beta 7 because it was not syncing
with my Lifedrive, and figured I'd give the test
version from the yahoo groups a try. After installing
it, when I try to launch it, I get the following error:
This application has failed to start because
MSVCR71.dll was not found. Re-installing the
application may fix this problem.
Not sure why it's missing, but obviously the package
isn't ready for distribution if it's missing a file.

This is the first time I've installed the app and I received
the same "MSVCR71.dll was not found" message. I just bought
a Palm E2 and found this app while looking for project
management software for it.
I install aspdotnet on my machine and I don't know if it
removed the dll.
Please help.

I did a search for msvcr71.dll on my c: drive included
hidden and system folders and found a copy in \program
files\palmone and I copied it to \program files\pdesk and
now it appears to work.
