#43 Task descriptions are being lost / deleted

Noticed at least three times where the task description
has a hyphen (-) in the description of the task where
there was once text.

For example, I typed in the word 'Resources' and then
synced a few times not touching this task and then came
back and opened up the file and noticed that the word
'Resources' had been replaced w/ the hyphen (-) character.

I saw that there was a defect re: going back and forth
to the flat file view but I haven't used that much and
do not think it is related - could be wrong though.
