Could any body please give a practical example of this "namke" in Visual Studio Ver 6. I am developing a Network Admin utility for Linux, MacOSX and Windows. I am ok with Linux. I dont know how to use this syntax to compile the pdcuses library for Visual C Ver 6
         nmake -f [path\]vcwin32.mak [DEBUG=] [target]

Any body know a link of  precompiled version of pdcuses library for VC6 in the web? Thank you for your help  by advance

I just successfully compiled pdcurses 2.6, and also the cvs version (which works better in the testcurs program) using MSVC6.

I can send you libs & dlls if you like.

Here is the batch file I constructed to do the compilation:

      set PDCURSES_SRCDIR=C:\somewhere\PDCurses
      call c:\temp\vc6.bat
      nmake vcwin32.mak

You will have to edit the path, and also, here is what my c:\temp\vc6.bat contains:

      Call "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VC98\Bin\VCVARS32.BAT"

That is to set the VC6 link & include directories, and path, and that path is the default installation path -- if you used a different installation path, edit that accordingly.
