Project Overview:
Most (Windows Mobile) PDA type devices are user upgradeable using manufacturer supplied ROM updates. Depending on the device type threre are normally 2 or 3 flash ROM updates for each device (1 - The Base Windows CE ROM, 2 - The Extended ROM containing manufacturer and 3rd party applications, and 3 - A radio ROM for mobile phone hybrid devices).

Although the average user may be happy enough with the manufacturer supplied Extended ROMs there is a growing community of users who feel that the supplied application software is either not acceptable or wish to add or change the supplied software.... read more
