I have a card identified as:
product info: "KME", "KXLC005", "00"
manfid: 0x0032, 0x2904
function: 8 (SCSI)
It is used to control a CDROM drive.
I tried using the qlogic_cs driver but it hung my laptop - after allocating a port and an IRQ.
I'm using pcmcia-cs-3.2.7
Any help on where I go from here would be appreciated.
Might as well try fdomain_cs and aha152x_cs as long as you're at it.
I've tried the other device drivers, but no success there either.
Any help on what I should do now would be appreciated.
What to do now? Well, you can either replace this hardware with something that is supported, or you can try to acquire technical documentation from Panasonic and possibly develop a new SCSI device driver. One of these options is probably easier than the other.
