#345 Xircom Ethernet Card stop responding

I use a Xircom CardBus Ethernet 10/100 + Modem 56
reference RBEM56G-100.

When the Fedora Core 1 start I can see on Charactere
mode screen that the OS cannot find the ethernet Card.

If keep on pinging from an other machine on the Fedora
IP Address I can catch 5 or 6 succesfull ping during
startup and that's all.

However, if I start without the Card Bus and whait for
graphique Layer to come up and then insert the card bus
then every thing is ok for a while and then the network
Card stop responding without hanging anything but
network application that see no more the network

I then use cardctl to eject the Card and then reinsert it
to have it work for a while and again hang after some
time

Do you see any interesting system log messages while this
is going on?

What is your network setup? What sort of device is
connected to the Xircom card? (a switch? hub? etc)

Try using 'mii-tool' to monitor the link status while this is
going on.
