It would be great to have an option to disable the mouse over auto selection feature. Some people (including me) are not used to it ;-)
Note: This behaviour is only available in "open files with single click" mode.
I would like to bump this request for pcmanfm-git, because the current behaviour is confusing:
1. Select multiple files for some action.
2. Accidentally moving the mouse a little might destroy the 1. selection, because the mouse might move over an unselected file.
(true only when "open files with single click" is enabled)
You seem to have CSS turned off.
Please don't fill out this field.
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3563759&group_id=156956&atid=801867 is marked as a duplicate of this but contains a suggestion of how the user interaction could be handled.
2 buzlite: don't you think there was a reason to mark that duplicate? Your suggestions are:
a) exactly how it works right now;
b) not related to the subject (subject is auto-selection but your suggestions are about all mouse interaction with widget).
This issue should be handled in 1.2.0-beta0 version of libfm setting "auto_selection_delay" configuration option to 0. Test it, please, when it's possible for you. Note that you should recompile pcmanfm as well to use new version of libfm.
Thank you very much.
