I don't know if there is this option but I noticed that on my version PCManFM 1.1.0, I can not see the total size of selected files.

It'll be a great tool if it'd be possible to read the total size when we select more than 1 file. Now I have to use properties menu.

Thanks. How do I install a patch?

It will affect performance a lot if you doing this. How about if it will take 10 hours to delete 10000 files? Yes, it will take so much, because it will recalculate file sizes and display it after each file deleted. So another solution is required. I'm thinking about show the total size in context menu (after right-click or 'Shift+Menu' key press). Will that satisfy your request?

I didn't know about that. I supposed that the selection was only until I press any other keys. What about a kind of tooltip when we stop cursor on the selected files? Also your suggestion would be nice.
    Thanks.

This feature is implemented in current GIT sources of PCManFM with some limitations due to lightweight nature - no directories and less than 1000 files in the selection.
    Thank you very much.
