In PCManFM, ODB files look like zip files, and open with Archive Manager by default.

Ubuntu bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcmanfm/+bug/1288731

This occurs in Lubuntu 15.04 Vivid with PCManFM 1.2.3-1 and also in Ubuntu 12.04 with PCManFM 0.9.10-0ubuntu2.

Not sure if this is a default settings thing or a PCManFM thing, because if LXDE is installed in Ubuntu, PCManFM will display ODB as Zip although Nautilus correctly shows ODB logo (see attachment).

Expected: ODB files open with LibreOffice Base if installed.
Result: ODB files open with Archive Manager by default, regardless of installation of LibreOffice Base.

Simple workaround for opening application:
Right-click on ODB file, select Open With...
Select LibreOffice Base
Check box next to "Set selected application as default action for this file type"

However, this workaround does not change the icon.

Versions affected: 1.2, 0.9 (closed)

    Also see [#938].

Thank you very much for bringing it to attention. I hope this issue is fixed recently in the libfm GIT repository. Try it when possible, please, and let us know if something is still not fixed. For Lubuntu you can use Lubuntu-dev PPA to upgrade your LXDE packages to latest GIT versions, it is updated daily.

Tested with the daily PPA on vivid & appears to be resolved. Thank you!
