The column titles in the detailed list view do not show in a new pcmanfm instance. Attached is a file showing the behaviour.

    I've also noticed this bug, using Arch Linux & OpenBox.
    Have also noticed, that it is mostly affected if the "Detailed List View" is set as default at pcmanfm start.
    If I switch to another view, Icon, Thumbnail or Compact, and then I switch back to "Detailed List View", then it will fix it fix it, but only for the already started session. If I close it, and start another one, the issue will reappear.

    Does that affects new window or only new application instance? I mean, if you just open additional window of pcmanfm, does that happen in that new window too?

    @lstranger: at me, only new - the first one window. All the additional instances opened once the first window has been opened - and is still left opened - are not affected.
    If I close all instances, and open new window again, it's starting from the beginning, the first window is affected, the rest ain't.

    Thank you very much.
    Since I cannot reproduce that bug on my system I can only suspect some places in the code. I found some place recently which generates G_CRITICAL in situation described by you. I've fixed it in GIT, in both master branch (which I would not recommend to use yet) and '1.1' branch (which is direct replacement for 1.1.0 version, just bugfixed version). If you could compile libfm from '1.1' branch and upgrade yours then I would be very grateful because you could tell me whether the issue is fixed or not.

    After few experiments I could reproduce it. And that mentioned commit fixes the issue. Next bugfixed version 1.1.1 will include the fix. Thank you very much.

    @lstranger
    I'm using Arch Linux, and our pcmanfm package has been update to 1.1.1 at 2013-07-22 20:04 UTC
    I've just updated the pcmanfm to latest version.
    Just for sure, I've removed the old config 'rm -Rf ~/.config/pcmanfm/' in my profile, to start with clean profile.
    After new start, I change in the settings to start up with DETAILED LIST VIEW.
    After I restart the app., the problem still exist, column titles are empty.
    Any advice pls?

    @dani100
    Are you sure you have upgraded your libfm to 1.1.1? If you look closely then you'll see the Category is libfm therefore upgrading pcmanfm will not help in fixing this issue.

    @lstranger:
    you're right, I haven't made full system upgrade before, only pcmanfm after I noticed him between new packages.
    have just now noticed the libfm, updated it, and now it seems to be working as expected.
    ignore my error ;) , and thanks
