PCI Hotplug is in the kernel

The Compaq PCI Hot Plug driver and supporting code have been in the official 2.4 kernel releases since 2.4.16. The downloads in the PCI Hot Plug for Linux project are no longer necessary and the UI's are no longer functional.

PCI Hotplug driver now in -ac kernel tree

The Compaq PCI Hotplug driver and the new PCI Hotplug generic core is now included in the 2.4.x-ac kernel tree starting with the 2.4.13-ac1 release.

PCI Hot Plug available!

This is the first release of the Compaq PCI Hot Plug driver for Linux. It is fully functional but there are still some rough edges. We welcome any and all help on this cool technology.

New Release

There is a new release of the hot plug driver availabe. With this release, the kernel patch includes the driver so the PCI Hot Plug driver tarball is no longer necessary.
