Category: None Group: For 5.12 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Aaron Divinsky (boomer70) Assigned to: Andrew McDougall (tir-gwaith) Summary: [LST File Class] Deity Initial Comment: Need a LST File Class for how to create and edit Deity LST files. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Maredudd (maredudd800) Date: 2006-11-22 00:51 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1569765 Originator: NO OK, I went back to the LSTfileclass group and looked into the Files section. I noted that the files included in the 'Lesson Files' are old. I took the 'lfc_deities.lst' reference out of the class material and have reloaded the rtf with the rest of Tir's comments intact. Eric ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Maredudd (maredudd800) Date: 2006-11-21 23:14 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1569765 Originator: NO I reviewed your tweeks and have no problem with them . . . your additional notes added a friendlier, less formal aire. Thanks! I also noted that you removed the TYPE tag. AS my recent posts on the lists, I could find no explanation of 'how' the information was used. The syntax was easy enough, but without any definition of how it was used, it seemed unecessary. As for your notes in red . . . If you check the Files section of the LSTfileclass group, you will see a folder labeled 'Lesson Files' which contains example files from the *.pcc and the *races.lst file classes. It is my intention to add the referenced file to that folder. The second nte in red, concerning linking in the section on the FOLLOWERALIGN tag I will leave to someone else. I'm still new enough to all of this that I'm not sure where we would link to. I certainly have no problem to linking back to any other material from anyplace in this class. The final note in red, suggesting that the SOURCExxx tags be covered under their own class. One of the guidlines I was working under for this class was that the class should be usable to both homebrew lsters as well as new data monkeys, for whom the SOURCExxx tags will be important, as the section introdiction states . . . If a separate class to handle the SOURCExxxx, and by extension the DESCISIP tg for the issue is as valid with it, I would recommend leabing the material in this class until the SOURCE Class is available. Then the material can be removed. In the end, I'll leave it to Aaron and Frank to decide . . . :-) On the other hand, if the material I included is adequit to the task, it may be that it should be pulled out imdemiately and a new 'general' class be produced. The only thing that I feel would need to be dded is a list of LST files that will need to include them. Again, I will leave it to Aaron and Frank to decide that. Thanks! If you can upload an RTF, I'll edit a few things, and we can post this. Thanks for the work! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Maredudd (maredudd800) Date: 2006-11-21 08:14 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1569765 Originator: NO I have uploaded a pdf of the first draft of the appropriate lst file class. Please review and let me know if there are any areas that need to be beefed up. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=748235&aid=1481145&group_id=25576 |
