The instructions come from here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pcgen/message/85002 --- It is very simple to turn XP native zip support on and off. Instructions are here: http://www.petri.co.il/disable_native_zip_support_in_windows_xp.htm basically boiling down to two simple command lines: Off: regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll On: regsvr32 zipfldr.dll If you are trying to re-enable native zip after a program took it away and the above doesn't work, then you may also need this: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.ZIP] In the right-pane, double-click (default) and set it's data to CompressedFolder Close Registry Editor and restart Windows for the changes to take effect. === Paul W.
