The combined html output sheet doesn't show the rage correctly when the rage button is pressed. It shows 0 times per day for rage for a 3rd level barbarian. It also doesn't change the weapon stats at all for the boost in strength. Ditto for Fatigued. As a side note, using the Rage template on the temporary bonus page shows most things, but not the change in stats at the top. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: takenote61 (takenote61) Date: 2007-08-23 05:02 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1029015 Originator: YES I'm still trying to use this sheet and the Rage per day still doesn't show up. With a STR of 9 (mod -1) WeapArr[0].modifyDamage() returns by +2 too high as soon as the negative modifier turns to 0 and stays 2 too high for every step of positive modifier. If the original STR is 7(-2 mod), the result of raising the STR stat will be 4 too high, 5 (-3 mod) goes 6 too high... Lowering the STR will also result in that bonus, so it looks like at some point the difference between the original and the new stat gets added to the absolute (positive) value of the original negative bonus. Hm. As long as I don't even figure out how I can display the value of a local variable in the Javascript console, I'm not getting anywhere with this. Kar, can you take a look at this, please? -- Frank ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Frank Kliewe (frank_kliewe) Date: 2006-10-08 18:47 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1241568 I think Kar's last fix cured some of this. Number of Rages displays ok now. Weapon stats do get changed, but the bonus is too high. The DEX stat when fatigued is raised by two instead of lowered. I'll try if I can fix this, but this sheet can be tricky. -- Frank ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=748296&aid=1512852&group_id=25576 |

A fit of rage lasts for 6 rounds. At the end of the rage, the barbarian is fatigued (-2 to Strength, -2 to Dexterity, can’t charge or run) for the duration of that encounter. The barbarian can only fly into a rage once per encounter, and only 1 times per day (determined by level). Entering a rage takes no time itself, but the barbarian can only do it during his action." At 4th level I get the correct: "...... and only 4 times per day (determined by level)...." Interestingly enough the SPECIAL ABILITIES section reads 2/day (1/2 the amount of the 4/day above). 1.) Do you know what the ruling should be here? (1/lvl/day) or (1/2 / lvl / day) 2.) Can you attach your PCG file, I'll try with that 3.) It's showing a zero. Did the fixed sheet get migrated? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Martijn Verburg (karianna) Date: 2006-12-16 15:59 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=252169 Originator: NO Finally tracked it down, truly nasty! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Martijn Verburg (karianna) Date: 2006-10-27 17:24 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=252169 OK, I've started investigating, weird doesn't even cover 1/2 of it, hopefully I'll be able to crack it on Monday... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Frank Kliewe (frank_kliewe) Date: 2006-10-25 14:11 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1241568 No. Just create a first level character and make sure it has a STR of 8,6 or 4. Then play around with the strength setting on the sheet. That should bring up the problem. -- Frank ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Martijn Verburg (karianna) Date: 2006-10-24 17:18 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=252169 Have we got the example character somewhere? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Frank Kliewe (frank_kliewe) Date: 2006-10-09 04:45 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1241568 DEX fixed itself, I guess that was one of the freak things that computers sometimes do. *shrug* The damage problem only manifests if the character's original strength has a negative modifier. -- Frank ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Frank Kliewe (frank_kliewe) Date: 2006-10-09 00:47 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1241568 I think Kar's last fix cured some of this.
